Whoa this entry's pretty long! But oh well Praise Jesus!!
hmmm i make it a point to write my blog everyday if possible... so far so good haha... hmmm that's really just to keep myself in constant knowing of His love for me... Hah Praise God!!
Anw, today was so so fantastic!!! The concert!! and before that the buying of the Christmas prezzies!!! Lets start with the Christmas presents!! Praise God! I went to Tangs just now with me papa and mummy... to try to get Kim Seng's present... and initially i thought like oh dear i dun think i'll be able to get anything for him there... but oh well... then rite, we went to the Christmas corner there just to see of we could get anything nice there... and viola! My papa saw this like snowman figurine... very pretty... and it was selling at a more than reasonable price... damn cheap la in fact... Oh man... haha cuz this is a public blog, i'm not really at the liberty to disclose the price in case any of my recipients see this somehow... haha... but it was a damn good bargain alrite!! Praise God!! And since it came in a set of 4, haha i can give it to 4 different people.... outta whom i think i'll give Kim seng of course, then my dearie Xuehui, and Yvonne and Wanting who are moving up soon... Praise God... Budget to the max man... :)
Then rite, we then proceeded to lucky plaza as mummy was to meet one of her frens, Bessy, for dinner together with us.... haha then i went to watsons as i passed by it... oh man and i bought more presents... small gifts this time... Bought like candy sticks for my ex cg... which i later passed to ujin to give out... hope he did haha and hope it's enough...
i also bought m&m fun packs hoping to give them out to the rest of my current cg on sunday... but later as we were waiting (tediously) for the concert to begin, papa got quite 'mouth itchy' and hence began to take the m&ms to eat... so now i'm left with no gifts for them till he gets me a new packet... haha
Oh well... praise God anw, remember i trusted God for the supernatural supply to come in such that i can buy the gifts? Praise God!! God gave me the supernatural supply by the great bargains i got for all the gifts i got! Praise God!!
Ok lets now talk about the concert... hmmm... at first rite, it was really a major disappointment cuz we were there at 7.30 and instd of my church coming on, this HK singer... can't even remember his name now, came on... He's the guy that sang the song 999 roses leh... I mean, he was ok la... but wats the fight?? Everyone there, being mostly from New Creation, were obviously just pinning for our church band to come on....
Hiyaa and then hor, that guy ah, he sang on for more than 1/2 hr lor... i think got 1 hr in fact.. i was getting so restless already... super boring... Ok and then like.... f.i.n.a.l.l.y.... when he announced that it was his last song... i tell u i was delighted... But..... hiyoh that stupid emcee later asked him for an encore... man i was like hello... why are u assuming things for us? Really. As if we wanted... haha... hiyoh... ok FINALLY, it was over...... and then, this group of children choir came on next to sing some Christmas songs... ok some is really an understatement... MANY... ok la they were kids la so... though it was also very boring.. i guess they're like excused la... but still................................ Oh man... i was just sitting down there thinking like, ey are they coming on or not... Ok la i probably need deliverence in the area of patience haha... but oh well i'm still redeemed and forgiven praise God... Hmmm anw, by then, like quite a no. of pple had left already lor... hiyoi...
FINALLY, at about 8.40 i think... near 9, New CReation Church came on!! OH MAN!!! The. party began! Woohoooo.... every single performance was just awesome man... Tonight it was Glenn and Jamie who were hosting... so cool.... then Jacintha also came on once to sing a song... Wow her voice is really fantastic... i really think it's way cool that my church has like so many celebrities... haha
Ok moving right along... mmmm the show started with the band jamming about 2 songs, then later the choir sang Happy Birthday Jesus... with so much life and flow... Hmmm then Adeline also sang a couple of songs... As usual she was SO GOOD.... Then Ronnie too... i think He's just so talented. Haha the elvis performance, the amazing grace rap, the...... so many kinds of genre, and he did all wonderfully... haha and there was pastor Lawrence... hee hee thought he looked pretty gay during the 'beegees' performance haha... but later that 'born again jovi' performance... man he looked so good!!! Heees as i told my frens, too bad he's married... hahaha
Then ah tan... also very good... Oh and Joan..... man she was so good on the flute... Man!!! Fabulous!!! And she looked awesome too... Angie! She too... Love that dunno wat language song that she and Joy sang... Her voice is power la!!! Hiya, all the singers up there... they had standard alrite. STandard, with a capital S. Wow... Amazing!!! Was just joking around just now that if the Singapore idol judges were there it'd really be no fight man... and there'll hafta be so many winners haha...
Hiya the whole show was just fantastic la.... so much to say.... Deacon Daniel sang too... His voice also nice one sia... never heard him before... haha... and then.... oh coach Louis... as usual... His voice in Chinese... woohooo....
Hiya too bad though that Pastor Prince didn't sing... hiya tot he was gonna sing really... hmmm... oh well.... he was there though... saw him sitting comfortably upstairs... haha.... But oh well... Pearlyn was still JOYOUS!!! Praise God! Oh at the end.... OHHH..... The praise and worship..... Woohooo..... Fantastic... Really. The whole thing, proclaiming the name of Jesus in the midst of the entire Orchard road.... Oh man...... Orchard road people are. blessed!!! We are Blessed!! with a big capital B!! Wooohoooo wooohooo....... So good so good... overflow overflow!!! hee after the whole thing i was like all sticky la... cuz of jumping jumping during the praise and worship time... then later i saw Yvonne and some other people of arts c and a. Haha then Yvonne approached to hug me and i was like, i'm all sticky leh... then she went, me also.... heh then we just don't care lor... HUGz!!! Heehee.... Love me cg man.... love them with the heart of Jesus... hiya but too bad yvonne and wanting are moving up... they're really really dear sisters man... :)
But oh well... i still trust Jesus for lots and lots of favour coming up... and great selections (by Him) of people that continue to come my way and become part of my life... Praise God!! And i truly truly want that glory that shines in me and thru me unto people that i meet every single day of my life.... GLoRy to Him in the most HigH!!! :)
